This made a huge difference for me. I have a bucket caddy that wraps around my bucket and had a few spots to put rods in. But now I got them in the rod holder. Plus i got the bucket bracket and it has completely freed the sled up. Installation was a breeze with the included template.
Great little Rod holder as far as the functionality, but as far as mounting , I would suggest adding another 2 inches to the mounting arms , as I had to add a small shim board to bring them out past my large otter sled lip .
By adding the small 1.5 inch board, it allowed me to bring them out past the edge of the sled so the rods could rest upright in perfect position. If I need more Rod holders in the future, I would definitely get these again for any sled.
Another suggestion I would make , is designing one for the side of a 5 gallon bucket.
Lots of times I carry my stuff in a bucket , and having a rod holder on the outside of the bucket would be a nice.
You don’t know how bad you need this until you got it. Also the installation process was super simple with the template provided. Any more products and I will be sure to purchase.
Im glad I went this route instead of just booting bucket to my sled. Now I can use the bucket as a stand for my flasher and I can store the sled without the bucket on it.
Lots to like about this bucket holder. Installation was quick and easy. The ease of attaching and unlatching the bucker is simple. It allowed my sled to have more space in it. Highly recommend
